My furry friend, Rocky from Big D. Back years ago, Big D was pretty set against us having a inside pet, I mean really set against! But some friends of ours had a cat who had kittens that I fell in love with. Every time we were over at their house I would sit on the floor and cuddle the kittens. But no matter how much I tried to sweet talk Big D, there was no way I was going to bring one home with me. One Sunday afternoon Big D and Bubba had run some errands and when they returned in walked Big D holding something in his arms. Peeking up was the cutest little kitten, my Rocky! Somehow, someway, something changed my hubby’s heart and Rocky has been in our lives for 8 years now. Have to say that was probably one of the best “no occasion” presents I ever got!
