My favorite show is back….The Amazing Race is on!! After the last one, when they had teams of 4 and it didn’t do so well, I’m pleased to see they went back to what works…teams of two! Last night the race began with eleven teams. And what a race it will be!
The racers are an interesting bunch….There’s the older couple who seems fit and ready to roll, and then you have the mother and daughter Latina team who look strong and will be a team to compete with! Then there’s the cute frat looking boys who don’t want to work but want to be millionaires. They have their eye’s on the cute team they dubbed the “Double D’s,” who are single and blonde and both their names start with D…(I know what you were thinking!). One of my least favorite teams is the Southern married couple, he’s arrogant and too hyper, she’s annoying. I don’t like them. Now the two that seems to be most in love is the self proclaimed nerds…they are so cute together! I am kind of pulling for them. Also the Hippies are hilarious, not just in their clothing choices, but in the way they enjoy everything!
Now my very favorites…”The Glamazons,” the two sisters who had me laughing from the moment they showed their first clip. I love these two! There is a moment in one of the tasks that is so funny, so like me…that I replayed it, over and over again to show Miss Priss, because it’s not often you hear something and think, boy that sounds just like me!! It had to do with laughing and what happens to us women when we have had children….come on, you know what I’m talking about!! It was hilarious, and it was like hearing myself.
I love this show, it’s the best of the reality shows out there. If Big D and I could get in shape, we would be so there! Especially since our kids are older, it would be so easy to do it now.
It’s going to be a great race around the world. I can’t wait to see where they go and what tasks they have to complete.

I have to agree with you! I love the nerds, love the hippies, laugh warmly at the glamazons, and wow, really can’t stand Lake.
I would definitely try out for the Amazing Race. I’d probably be eliminated the first leg, but it would be so cool!

You are totally from my tribe and my clan….Amazing Race is my favorite show or all the reality shows. I so agree with you and totally loved the nerd dating couple. I don’t think I could be on it because Mr. Wonderful would be helping everyone out.

Well seeing as I have so many friends who have run the Amazing Race, worked on it behind the scenes or just generally live eat and breath the show I would have to say yes wouldn’t I lol
AR is probably one of the few I would actually go on if I was allowed to, which I am not LOL
Who wouldn’t love a show with a Kiwi host
