Name 3 things that you think are strange.

      1. Tongue piercing….ok, I know that they say it’s for sexual pleasure or whatever…but come on…it’s strange to have a steel ball through your tongue and talk with a lisp because it weighs your tongue down! Geez!

      2. I find this very strange….

I’m curious….if #1 wife left because she they couldn’t have children, and #2 wife adopted because they couldn’t have children, HOW on earth did Katie get pregnant so fast? Is The Church of Scientology that powerful? (ha ha) Or are we seeing an immaculate conception? ) I once liked ol’ Tom….but he’s just gotten so Strange!

      3. I also find this extremely strange…

Brittany Spears Sculpture of her giving birth…..yeah that’s something I wanted to see! And what’s up with the bear rug? Strange!

      Soup

What was the last ceremony you attended?

Just recently attended the Induction Ceremony of two friends (married couple) who were brought forth as ministers in our church. It was a beautiful ceremony!

      Salad

What is one lesson you have learned in the past year?

      People can really surprise you!

      Main Course

Tell us about one of your childhood memories.

I had won the role of a Harem girl in the play “The Nutcracker” in sixth grade. I was so excited and my grandmother who can sew like no other, made me a gorgeous costume! It was a thing of beauty, lime green in color, sequins lined the edges, and the sheer material flowed…I was so proud! Just a few weeks before the play, report cards came out and I made a C in English, because of this I was told I could not be in the play by the principle because of that grade. My teacher tried and tried to talk him into letting me to continue to be in it but he wouldn’t budge. My mother went in to talk to him, and he was rude to her. I remember just crying thinking I wouldn’t be able to wear that beautiful costume my grandmother made. The principle had the nerve to offer to pay for the costume so the girl who was taking my place could wear it. My mother told him over her dead body, if I wasn’t wearing it, no else was either! So I didn’t wear it in “The Nutcracker” but I wore it for the following Halloween and man I had the best Halloween costume that year!

      Dessert

If you could extend any of the four seasons to be twice as long as normal, which season would you want to lengthen?

It would be Spring….so the flowers would stay blooming longer and the hot weather doesn’t roll in as soon. Love springtime! My next choice would be Fall, watching all the leaves change colors…beautiful!

Since Spring is here, finally, and since this is my “garden” let me share with you some of my favorite flowers. Some of these photos were taken in my yard, some while traveling, some I found on the net. I look forward to this time of year, when I start to see the blooms popping up, it’s so promising isn’t it?

                  1. The Yellow Rose….of course! The yellow rose indicates friendship and freedom. But to me they are just beautiful!

                    2. Wisteria - It’s beautiful and it’s purple! I love to see this bloom every spring! The way it drips down…gorgeous!

                      3. Hibiscus - Tropical and beautiful! I took this picture in the Bahamas….they were everywhere!

                        4. Azaleas - I love these! This photo was taken while we were in Savannah, Georgia. The colors are gorgeous and when they bloom you know Spring is here!

                            6. A field of daisies -Makes me want to run through it barefoot! What do you say, wanna join me?

                              7. Gerbera Daisies - I love these big, bright daisies…they remind me of the 70’s! They are so cheerful, I always smile when I see them.
