Happy Valentines Day! It has been a rather different Valentines for me this year, my honey is in Georgia and I in Texas, but he said he has a surprise for me when I get home. So, we’ll just delay it a few days!
I bought my dad a t-shirt that had Snoopy on it that said “Heartbreaker” I thought it was cute and it was fitting. He loved it. I gave my step-mom a wonderful scented soy candle that smells like chocolate pecan pie! YUMMY!! We’ve also made some chocolate dipped strawberries for a special treat….have to perk up dad’s spirits, he’s been alittle down. Their pastor and his wife is bringing dinner over tonight, so that is sweet. They do have a wonderful network so when I leave I know that things will be ok.
Well, once I get home I’ll be back to my regular posting and visiting you all. I sure do miss my daily visits and catching up!! What have I missed? I know I have missed something good, haven’t I? LOL You all will have to fill me in when I’m back in the game!

It has been nearly 11 years since my dad’s open heart and the most notable thing I can mention about him are his changed emotions. He has them now…
His open heart caused his heart to open literally… He has become a softie with a big hole in his heart. All my best to your dad.
