Thirteen Little Facts About YellowRose

1. I was born in Chicago in the *cough* sixties.

2. I lived in the same house from the time I was born to the time I left home to marry. Lots of memories in that little house on Lockwood.

3. I have one sister, who’s four years younger than me. Growing up we fought like cats and dogs, now we get along just fine!

4. I once convinced my sister to get in the clothes dryer when we were kids, because it would be fun….she didn’t think so.

5. After graduating from high school I took a trip to Texas to visit family. On my second day there I met a friend of my uncles, it was love at first sight. We married four months later.

6. I’ve been married to my best friend for 22 years.

7. I have two of the greatest kids in the world….did you think I wouldn’t say that?

8. I love to sing, but I get stage fright so bad that I physically get sick….kinda screws things up when it’s time too perform.

9. Speaking of music, I love all types of music! From Enya to Josh Groban to The Corrs to Casting Crowns….if I like, I’ll play it!

10. I’m a chocoholic….there I said it!!

11. Ok, don’t judge me on this one……I really don’t like to cook! (go ahead, pick up your jaw now!) I know all the good take out and delivery places here!!

12. My favorite color is purple….if you couldn’t tell!

13. I drink ice tea by the gallon, seriously! Man, thinking of 13 things about yourself is not easy!!

And what’s wrong with the :cough: sixties? I was born in 1964 and I’m quite proud of that! My kids think I’m older than dirt, but what do I care? My 13 are up!

You would really get all choked up if you had been born in “59″ like me. I am darn proud of it though. People swear I do not look 46. Alas though, I feel every single minute of it, lol.

I do sing and am recording a new CD as soon as the docs say my vocal chords are “destressed” again. Been praticing a lot though over at odeo.com.

I too am a Chocolate lover and I am not from Illinois at all BUT I do currently live here in Peoria!

Will you be my best friend? LOL I love purple, I hate to cook, I’m married to my best friend, I was also born *cough* in the sixties, love all types of music and I’m a fellow chocoholic (nice to meet you *shakes hand*)

However, DO NOT ask me to sing. lol

I have a love/hate relationship with cooking. Poor Hubby never knows when he gets home whether he’ll be eatting a large home-cooked meal or a TV dinner. *hehehe* Love your list.

I don’t “hate” to cook I just know my husband does a better job of it lol.
Have you noticed a lot of the new people doing TT do NOT put link backs,I think some people don’t “get” it lol

I love to sing too… just not too loudly in front of people. I love Iced Tea but I’ve given it up for water except at dinner time. Hope you had a happy TT!
