Well it seems that my lousy weekend is going to continue to flow into the week. Today it has rained nonstop, it’s cold and gloomy outside. Miss Priss woke up quite sick and I was feeling worse so I made doctors appointments for the both of us. So we ventured out in this horrible weather, you wouldn’t believe all the car accidents we saw just on the way to the doctors office! People just do not know how to drive in these conditions apparently. We counted four accidents on the way and three on the return trip!

Miss Priss has bronchitis, and was given a dose of heavy duty antibiotics. I was told I have the flu. Given prescriptions to make me feel better and sent on our way. I honestly think that this winter has been one of the absolute worst regarding illness for me! It’s been horrible! Has anyone else had more illness this year? I’m just curious if it’s just me or if it’s just been a bad winter for sickness.

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for my dad…it really means alot to me to know that you will be thinking and praying for him this week. It just amazes me what a wonderful community the blog community is. You all are great!!

Just a reminder….tonight is the start of the final 11 episodes of “7th Heaven“!! I hate to see this show end, I’ve watched since it began and it is one of the most wholesome shows on TV today. Though I know it can be corny at times, it still is one of my favorites shows to date.
