It’s Friday and it’s gloomy here…nothing but rain in the forecast for the weekend…yeah, just what I need, more rain. This weather is really playing with my head, literally! The weather is causing me to have migraines and it’s getting quite old. I’ll be glad to see this end!
So to get my mind off the rain and my aching head I thought I’d show you a picture of what Big D and I will be doing in March……
That’s right, we will be on a ship like this one heading to the Bahamas!! Oh yeah! We’ll be going with some other couples so it should be quite fun. I haven’t been on a cruise before, but my mom and step dad have been on quite a few and they love them. I’m looking forward to it.
Have you been on a cruise? If so, where and what pointers can you give me?

my mom used to be a travel agent and she;s been on so many! she loves them!

Oh man, my husband gets SO motion sick. We tend to steer clear of anything that moves on our vacation. But still, I would LOVE a cruise because you don’t feel like you have to be doing something every second of the trip. If I were going on a cruise, I’d take a good book and lay on the deck for HOURS. So jealous.

You’re so lucky, you’re going on a cruise. I keep on trying to talk hubby into one, but he was in the military for 20 years and has seen enough of ships. Convincing him that it’ll be different is another story. Have fun.

Awesome! Have you been planning this for along time??? About 3 years ago we almost went on a cruise to the Bahamas but Big D’s work kept us from using tickets. Have fun!! Take lots of pics.

No…I’ve never been on a cruise,and probably never will, given my health issues now…But when I think of cruises I think of a couple of films that featured cruises..Now weather they will be helpful to you, I don’t know…but here they are:
“AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER” The Cary Grant one…V-e-r-y Romantic; “The Lady Eve”..Henry Fonda & Barbara Stanwuck..GREAT Film….great cruise, too!
And, the most recent one that comes to mind is a film with John Voight…”Table For Five”…almost all of it takes place on a cruise…

uhh dont eat fro two weeeks ahead of the cruise, and dont drink cocktails – it will cost you as much as your cabin.
