Employees of Takashimaya Department store look at 223 diamond studded, total 170 carats, “Diamond Christmas cake” on the jewelry floor in Tokyo Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005. The cake, with a price tag of 200 million yen (USD $ 1.72 million) is a two-layer hexagonal fruit cake measuring 20 centimeters tall and 18 centimeters in diameter and covered with pink icing. It is good for one year – you can eat after removing the diamonds.
Yeah, I can think of a lot better ways for 223 diamonds to be put to use and it isn’t on a stupid fruit cake!!!

Wow, that’s quite a cake, but I can only see half of it. Do others have trouble seeing your entire page (some parts are overlapped)? Probably just me.

They TOTALLY missed the boat on that cake. It shouldn’t be a fruit cake. With all those diamonds, it should be a CARROT cake!
